Shaking Off the Madness is an informative bi-weekly blog for the individual who may be seeking help and insight regarding issues related to emotional and mental health and well-being for self, friends and family members. Much emphasis will be placed on attachment theory, the field of epigenetics, trauma research, pre and perinatal psychology, developmental psychology and family systems therapy as a means of understanding behavioral and relationship patterns. In keeping with the style of therapy I facilitate for my clients, the focus is to understand what is informing undesirable behaviors and experiences rather than pathologize them.
